Seriously? This is what America has come to? Civil and personal rights should trump any and all employment contract stipulations. This should be a no brain-er to pass this amendment.

Yet again, another perfect example of why Republicans are full of it. They don't care about people, they don't value human life. The only thing they care about is money. Prove me wrong Republicans and show me just once that you know how to put the good of many over the good of the few rich.

Unfortunately, I live in a state where both of my Senators voted against the bill and while I can't say that I've checked every newspaper, newscast or website, etc., I can say that not one of the many local and national news organizations that I check everyday mentioned anything about this with the exception of Huffpo's link to the Daily Show and Jon Stewart's take on the situation. Where's the so-called "Liberal Media" when you need them? Just when I think that the Repugnicans can't stoop to a new low, they manage to pull off something more loathesome and dispicable than before. I'm not even shocked by their actions anymore. I sincerely hope that their days of influence and power are over. I don't think the world, much less the US, can survive another round of their twisted and misguided logic and ideologies. Unbelievable.
